Beschreibung
PA5-34945 targets Loricrin in WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-34945 immunogen is synthetic peptide contains a sequence corresponding to a region within amino acids 248 and 312 of Loricrin. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
This gene encodes loricrin, a major protein component of the cornified cell envelope found in terminally differentiated epidermal cells. Mutations in this gene are associated with Vohwinkel′s syndrome and progressive symmetric erythrokeratoderma, both inherited skin diseases.
