Human Serpin A5/Protein C Inhibitor quantitates human Serpin A5/Protein C Inhibitor in serum, plasma, supernatant. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant human Serpin A5/Protein C Inhibitor.
Dieses Gen codiert ein Mitglied der Superfamilie der Serinproteinase-Inhibitoren (Serpin). Dieses Mitglied ist der Hauptinhibitor des Gewebe-Plasminogen-Aktivators (tPA) und der Urokinase (uPA) und ist daher ein Inhibitor der Fibrinolyse. Defekte in diesem Gen sind die Ursache für Plasminogen-Aktivator-Inhibitor-1-Mangel (PAI-1-Mangel) und hohe Konzentrationen des Genprodukts sind mit Thrombophilie assoziiert. Alternativ wurden für dieses Gen gespleißte Transkriptvarianten gefunden, die verschiedene Isoformen codieren.
