Description
Zinc oxide is used in laser diodes and light emitting diodes. It helps in removal of sulfur and sulfur compounds from a variety of fluids and gases particularly industrial flue gases.It acts as a precursor to other zinc compounds and additive to protect the rubber from fungi and UV light. It is used in nuclear pressurized water reactors to prevent corrosion. It acts as a food additive in cereals and prepackaged foods.
