A widely used solvent for nitrocelluloses and dyes2-Ethoxyethanol is widely used as a varnish remover and degreasing solution. It is a solvent used for nitrocellulose. It is used as a component for dyes, inks, cleaning agents, resins, paints, destaining solution for lipoproteins on polyacrylamide gels.

Anwendungen
Ein weit verbreitetes Lösungsmittel für Nitrocellulosen und Farbstoffe. 2-Ethoxyethanol wird häufig als Lackentferner und Entfettungslösung verwendet. Verwendung als Lösungsmittel für Nitrocellulose. Mischbar mit Wasser, Aceton, Ethylacetat, Benzol, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Diethylether, Methanol, Kohlenwasserstoffen und Ethanol.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Säuren, starken Basen, starken Oxidationsmitteln, Aluminium, Alkalien und Kupfer.
